Hi everyone! What a great week at school we have been having! Mr Brooks spoke at our High School Chapel on 'Toughness' and challenged each one of us, the Shearer family welcomed their new little boy into the world, our CAS Soccer team played exceptionally well at the SDA Tournament on Saturday night, I've been continuing to have bible studies with many wonderful students, and the sun has graced us with it's glorious presence all week! We have so much to praise God for!!! Is this how you are feeling today too or has life been getting the better of you? Sometimes, when life throws us some tough situations, it's easy to look on the negative side of the situation.

Bible StudyIn the Bible, David was struggling too. In Psalm 51:12 he cries out to God saying "Restore me to the joy of Your salvation..." True joy and peace can only be found in God. It is only when we have that, that we can praise God with our whole being. Later in Psalms David says in Psalm 147:1 -"How good it is to give praise to our God! How pleasant and fitting to praise Him!" He had found the true joy and peace that can only come from our Lord. Do you have that today? If yes, then praise the Lord! If not, then just say a simple prayer to God "God, I ask that you restore me to the true joy that can only be found in You" and rejoice, for God has heard your prayer and will provide for you!

I believe that the oxygen of Heaven is praise, and that our 'oxygen' should be praise too - that we live and breathe praise to God all day long! It is my heartfelt prayer and desire that our students, staff, and you reading this will experience God's true joy through praising Him today.

God bless,
Pastor Tracey
